We open up our home to because we want to share great music. In the area where we live -- like most of the world today -- there are too few venues where people can go to experience great music in a close and friendly non-smoking, non-amplified environment. There are so many wonderful musicians making wonderful music that we rarely get a chance to experience. This allows us to share with you, the music that makes us happy. We only invite musicians we enjoy listening to and we want to share that enjoyment with others around us. These events allow us to give exposure to some incredible musicians whose talents we truly believe in and wish to help promote.

david sinclair

We're lucky to have David Sinclair with us for his first House Concert at PondsideMusic. http://www.myspace.com/davidsinclairmusic David Sinclair toured with Sarah McLachlan from 1993-2003 as her guitarist on the Lillith Fair, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy and Surfacing tours, and with k.d. lang on her Ingenue tour. Prior to these two lengthy touring and recording opportunities, Sinclair had accomplished a vast and varied musical background on his own.

Sinclair continues touring, recording and producing. He is also focusing on his two instrumental solo acoustic guitar CDs: "Acoustic Christmas" (which was named in the 'Top Five Christmas Albums' by The Province Vancouver Newspaper in December of 2008) which he recorded while touring with McLachlan, and 2007's "No Words", which has received rave reviews & high acclaim from critics, guitarists and fans alike. "No Words" is a soulful roots/celtic mix featuring mainly original material. A third solo CD (which will also feature numerous original vocal tracks) is due for release by the end of 2009.
